this egg was laid back in July, and has been incubated at 50% humidity and approx 30C. Any info on that black dot. Id expect to see more of a gecko from an egg laid over 60 days ago, but rangei are lightly colored and transparent, so its difficult. Any input?

I've had no experience with P. rangei but with every single species of gecko and snakes I've had incubating I've never been able to see the shape of the animal, even when candled shortly before hatching. It looked exactly like yours, except I don't remember seeing a black dot, but I'm sure someone can help you out with that.

Hi,

the egg is fertile and I guess you will have a cute little baby in about two weeks.

best,

well I looked at it again and I realized that the black dot was just an eye, and it is fully formed, and I could see the head and the other eye. I am so excited, and I hope it hatches! Looks like it should hatch soon.
