Goni Newb

I'm wanting to get into Goni's, but I'm not sure which species I want to get. I've always loved orientalis and splendins, but I'm still not sure. The higher price tags of the rarer species don't really scare me, so don't let the price bias your feedback.

Here's my questions:
Which species gets the biggest?
Which species tolereates the most handling?
Which is the hardiest?
Which is the easiest to breed?
