They are not from the same continent ,thus possible contaminations may occur. More, they do not demand the same keeping conditions at all ,Agalychnis must be kept cooler than ptychs .And fights are possible ,males of both species can be quite aggressive .

hmm... so I'm not afraid of contaminations, because i owe the frogs for at least 4 years (can't remember when i bought them, maybe it's 6 years) and the gecko for one year now, so they're clean

and yeah.... the tanks are in my room, so the temperature should be the same in both tanks
but none of them seems to care, they all look really healthy

and i know that the gecko is a female and both frogs have the same gender.

but do you think i could try it?

They are both nocturnal and climbers so encounters are very likely to occur and gecko's can react aggressive when disturbed.

I would keep them separated.
When you put them together -> I put my money on the gecko.

I say a viv that size is no good for combining 2 species with diifferent needs. At first it might seem to work but on the long term problems will occur.

ok

but i think i give it a try, at least as long as i need to clean the frog's old tank and get it's soil dry or buy a new one

and maybe they become friends ;)
:D
