New geckophile from Finland

Hello everybody :)

In the next few weeks I should receive my first gekkos, some Lygodactylus sp. (suspected to be L. picturatus) and I have already built the vivarium to house them (pictured below).

I am looking forward to reading plenty more about these and other geckos and getting to know more about raising live food, like crickets and fruit flies, etc.

EDIT: Just thought I'd mention, that I'm not exactly new to reptiles, although geckos are new to me. I got my first pythons back in 1997 and have mostly been a reptile hobbyist since, excluding a short period between 2000-2003.

That's Lygodactylus mombasicus. Lyogodactylus luteopicturatus is a synonym of them. Beautiful geckos :) I cept them too....

Lygodactylus mombasicus is what these are, that's true. L. picturatus and L. luteopicturatus are synonyms ;)

Any pics of your Lygodactylus on the web?

EDIT: Some progress:

After 70 days of incubation at temps around 26..27 degrees celsius, the first one of what will hopefully be a handful more, hatched yesterday. I'm expecting 3 more to hatch within the next week or so.
