While feeding my geckos yesterday evening I heard a very loud calling and I managed to localise it to the Tropiocolotes terrarium where I keep 3.3 T persicus. Is this a common behaviour or is it simply a territorial call? Or is it a sign of a beginning mating season?
The calls were louder than any gecko call I have heard before except from a Tokay. This really surpised me since the geckos are so small and I couldn´t imagine that such a small animal could produce such a loud call.
Anyone with more experience of Tropiocolotes who can tell me anything about this?
