i just got a baby jungle and a baby albino and put them in a setup 20g long and when i took them out of their container to to put in the cage they both hissed and tryed to bite me, that has never happened with my other fully grown leopard gecko and i had him since he was an egg so i was just wondering if they will calm down or stop hissing and biting me once they get used to their new cage

They should calm down once they get used to you and their new surroundings. I would give them a few days before trying to handle them again. After that time you could try just putting your hand in the tank and slowly place your hand down flat in front of them. They will probably check your hand out, maybe lick it to get your scent and then go about their business. If you want anymore advice then feel free to pm me.
Hope that helps!

Hi and Congrats on your new Leos!!

Babies can be very skittish especially if they have just been transplanted into a new home and it's not unusual for them to hiss at you as it's the only defense that they have at that size-lol

They try and make themselves look all big and bad because they perceive you as a predator

I would suggest that you house them in separate tanks/tubs until you know what sex that they are to prevent a female from becoming gravid too young or the possibility of ending up with 2 males in the same tank

Michelle gave you excellent advice in her post and I would give them more like a week or two to settle in before you try and handle them

What size/weight are they?

We would love to see pics!!

I can understand you wanting to see them together but if you leave them together and they are a m'f-they will breed before the female is full grown and physically ready to be able to carry and pass eggs with no danger to her

just my 2 cents

As for posting pics -most people upload to a server like Photobucket and then copy the IMG code and paste it into the body of your message

You won't see the pic in the preview-just the image code but you should have a pic like this when you are done

That is a great pic! :D

Yeah I think they just need to get used to you, when I first got mine one of them bit me a couple of times but once she found out I wasn't edible she backed off and now she walks onto my hand when I open the cage :D
