How large should a proper enclosure be, what soil and interior/plants should
be used and what kind of lighting? Also the temperatures and proper humidity
would be very interesting. According to Bill Branch's field guide to snakes
and other reptiles of south Africa P. rugosus range from w. cape to
kaokoveld in namibia. I read on forums that its hard to make P. rugosus
reproduce, have you found out a trigger yet? Is there a season in their
natural habitat that is significantly cooler or has more rain?
Are pairs kept together year round or should they be separated?
