Different looking sikorae babies

So my third little Sikorae hatched and I was very surprised about the way it looks:
Sikoraebaby5.jpg

It looks much more "rough" than the first two babies, they are more "smooth" and show more white colors. I always thought of two different types of Sikorae, didn't think that babies from the same parents can look so different.

Hello Siri,

Congratulation. You have realy nice sikorae there.
Babys colouration from babys can be realy different, also from their parents.
And there are much more then 2 sikorae forms.
But you have realy nice ˝normal˝ sikorae.

Hi Siri,
congratulations to your breeding success! Nice to hear that they are already breeding! Keep on going that good work!
Your juveniles look just like mine! It`s totaly intresting.... I like most the white ones. I`ve a group of white ones and there`s already the F2 incubating. I can`t wait to see how the offspring looks like.
The only problem is, that every juvenile is so unique, that you want to keep them all for yourself.... :)
Maybe i can post some pictures as well.

Hey Siri,
Both very nice ones!

Grep, about the forms, i guess you mean something like colour depending on locality just like pardalis? Cause in the newest reptiles and amfibians of madagascar, there are a lot of sikorea pictures and they are all complete different in colouration.

That what i like about sikorea, you never know what colour hatches next. Kinda like rhaco auriculatus.

Hi Sebastian,

wow, your babies look great, the first one is stunning!
The white ones really look very similar to mine (but my babies are NOT from the Sikoraes I got from you, they both turned out female and I will still let them grow a little bit until I start breeding with them), personally I like the darker ones which look like real trees more :)

As i take a closer look to your pictures, the first one looks suspecialy like the one that now is housed here...

Siri, The white ones are just as treelike as the dark ones. Just try to find them on a lightly coloured piece of bark.. :p

I love'em, specially the white ones. ;) Ive noticed before that they are very variable in color and pattern. Great shots too.

We found this to be cool as well...These were from 2006, our female dropped her tail, and we haven't gotten anything since...Hoping for a better 2008!
