Sphagnum

Hi everyone!
I am setting a new exoterra viv for my pair of E. agricolae.
I would use the Sphagnum to cover the substrate (peat moss and cocofiber).
Is it toxic for the geckos? Can it damage the bromelia (two little plants of Bromelia) that i put in the viv?

This is the sphagnum that i bought for the viv:

Thank you in advance! ;)

Ok, thank you for the answer!

I removed the sphagnum from the viv cause I was scared for the same reason you said. ;-)

It also really bumps up the soil's acidity. But then again, bromeilads tend to tolerate that, or even prefer it.
