Many breeders do it different, there is no wrong way it is whatever works for you. I personally just getting started keep Geckos but I breed ball pythons and ATBs and GTPs.
For a Male Breeder:
ID# 05ALM C# 6
That would tell me he was born in 2005 he is an Albino Male and he came out of clutch number 6. If you bought him from someone, then you would leave off the C# 6 since u did not breed him or replace the C#6 with a number if you have more then one 05ALM Breeder.
Clutches:
ID# 07ALF C# 8
06/20/2007 F1
This would tell me that she was born 2007 and is a Het Albino Female and she came from clutch number 8. Date of Birth and she is the 1st female out of the clutch. Then I could go back and see that Clutch number 8 came from my Albino Male 05 breed to a Het Albino Female 04.
