Hi.
I received some newly imported P. kuhli.
2 of the 3 are dead.
The red mites that I move off with a insecticid that is called Deril P.
THis one causes no damage on snakes and is currently used.
Another people I know use it for her Crotaphytus collariss with no problems.
So I think this could not be an intoxication with this produc.
Then, they have a cool water bath to remove this liquid.
I also used olive oil for moving the last mites. I used this oil with great success with my WC regius and Gonyosoma oxycephala.
The symptoms were :
spasms as a lack of Ca.
The geckos were apathic.
I think the geckos made a skin retention as they couldn't chang skins.
The fingers were curled up because of the pain I think and the tail was right and stiff.
I hope this was not the insecticid that could have cause neurological trouble but I think this is not.
My parameters of humidity and temperature are for sur good.
I have a female that is very active and has the same treatment that the others so I do not know.
The feces are a little liquid so they should have parasites. I have not made a copro yet. The flagyl or panacur could stress them too, and I was waiting that they feed well (what is not the case)
Thanks for your answer
Regards
Alexandre
