O.Lesueurii breeding

hi,
im just looking for any tips on encouraging oedura lesueurii's to breed. iv been trying to get them to breed for a while by simply leaving them, but they dont seem to be doing anything
any help is great

yes i cooled them but they have never been separated in their life and iv had no problems. should i separate them?

Maybe...

no hands on experience with the species ( I wish :biggrin:), but by separating and then reintroducing the male, you may be able to "shock" him into realize what a fine lady hes been living with. I dont know how long to seperate them for now, as this would usually be done in conjunction with the cooling period, but I would thing a short period would do the "trick" good luck and feel free to slide me a juvie for the good advice if you are succesful!:lol:

I do leave my Cresteds together year round, but never did get eggs out of the monilis and castelnaui that I kept together and did not cycle.

i might give it a try
but unfortunately im in australia and the laws here forbid any importing or exporting of reptiles so i cant send you any

I separated mine while cooling then reintroduced them about a week and a half after feeding them heavily. Making sure I kept them humid throughout the time. This is what I did and ended up with two fertile clutches. I cooled mine down to the high 40's to mid 50's that year.

ill try that this year because cooling time starts in a week or 2 over here
not sure if its the same for you, but dont think so haha :S
