Our gecko has the fattest tail i have ever seen! Sometimes it looks like his head! is this normal? A sign of something? Again, we just bought him from Petco on Sunday and last night was the first time I actually saw him eat.

A gorgeous tail is a sign of health. However a too much fat tail is a sign of desease. If you gecko is an adult, and the weight is good, feed him just 2 time at weeks, and don't worry.. :)

Of course, if it's a regenerated tail, it could be fat, roundish and short, in which case it's not a problem.

thanks everyone! I don't think it's a regenerated one-it looks too nice. I will take it as a sign of good health!
