Title says it all. I'm looking for feedback/info from keepers with Ph. guimbeaui in their collections. Please share info regarding tips for rearing young and optimal conditions for adults.

Thanks,
-Harold

Pretty simple really just like any other Phelsuma. Hatchlings I keep in tall delicups for about the first month or two. I mist mine daily sometimes every other day. Use a low wattage puck for a hot spot and a plain old t-5 light for everything else no special uv stuff. Also minerall indoor every feeding. I line the inside of the bamboo tubes with old paper towel or tp rolls. Once they lay them I remove the paper tube and cut the rest away. Eggs go in the incubator, fastest times of incubation was if I remember correctly 37 days longest has been around 70-80. Hope the info helps.

I'm hoping to grab some guibeaui in Feb '09. Looking forward to that....

Thanks Brandon. I've kept Ph. guimbeaui for a few years now, but I'm always seeking advice from other keepers. Hopefully I'll be joining the ranks with my own hatchlings sometime this summer/fall...

Hi Harold,

I keep my Ph. guimbeaui the same like the cepediana and ornata. The pitty ist that i have only a single female. But she is doing great. Just got many infertile eggs of her.

I do kee her in a 40x50x80 (cm) tank. The lighting is a 70w HQI and a 18w T8. Duing the summer i try to keep her outside. Hope she will get some mor red colour as she do has now.

Good luck with them.

Regards,
Markus
