OK so this is just a total mess now! I tried to post some pics but no that didn't work and now a can't delet it so i need some help here!!

Ok many thanks Oliver I'm only keeping one henkeli at this time but there will be some more species soon.

Thanks yeah i really like him/her. I bought it as my first Uroplatus just to see if could take care of it and it's working very well so I'm thinking of getting one or two more.
I became very astonished when i saw the colour of him/her.

he/she has definately got a stunning pattern. It looks more like a sikorae pattern.
how old is your henkeli?

Hi! Thanks Graham he/she is going to be 11 month very soon now

Ok Oliver wats so special with Him/her?
It's relly hard to tell but the lenght is about 17.5 cm
I will see if i could get the breeder to reply to this thread cuz he will probobly have more info than i have.

very unusual colour/pattern. not like most if not all other henkeli I have seen.

Ok so if that colour is unusual, wath do a "normal" henkeli looks like then??

gollum: I actually think that's a female too because the breeder of this animal says that most of his babies with that colour has turned out to be females.
But it's not 100% sure

Im agree, you have probaly a female!
Further the colouring and skin texture (more colourfull and rough) differs much from the common imported Henkeli animals. Its always advisable to use animals from identical origin area/area/forest for the breed. With U.sikorae often the mating partners were not compatible and the breed succeeded only sporadically. Often such young animals were measure-formed (obstructed) and did not come out of the eggs.
With U.henkeli I have in this connection similar experiences.
I advise it to you only!
Common U.henkeli male.
Common U.henkeli pair (females are similar but more speckled).

I have to agree. My henkeli differs alot in colour compared to the henkelis in the pictures you show.

it will be very interesting to hear what locality yours is from. I hope the breeder will come on here and tell us!
