Is this normal or should I be concerned? My gecko didn't eat last night or the night before that. I just got him last week and he had been eating good-now I am a bit concerned.

Is your gecko shedding or close to doing so? They tend to go off their food for a couple of days around that time. wait another day or so and if he doesn't start eating what your giving him try something else or you may need to force feed him. I hope it doesnt come to that, I'd keep that as i last resort. Hope he starts eating again soon, keep us updated!

Ok-I hope this doesn't seem like a stupid question-but, how can I tell if he is close to shedding? His skin does look "whitish" 'dried" looking if that makes sense-before you asked this question I was thinking he was getting close to shedding. He gets all happy when I mist him-he licks the water off the walls and stuff-LOL!

Yeah their skin goes whitish, has he been spending a lot of time in his moist hide? That could be it you know. As I said, give it a day or two. You'll know when hes shedding, its a little shocking lol.
