Okay so I am going to post several pics of my lil blizzard babies, can anyone tell me the difference in the whole blizzard/snow line - okay wait, I have access to all of the same morphs sites as everyones else (not to sound snippity) but I would like opinions from my fellow friends here... What makes a banana blizzard banana? what makes a Diablo Blanco?
Does anyone have an adult blizzard? if so, will you post a picture so I can have an idea what my wee ones will look like?
I guess really I would like to open up a discussion on the whole blizzard morph... Anything you can share is GREATLY appreciated.. I lucked into 1 male and two females!

Their names are Azul/Yankee (yes she has two names, when she is behaving and acting like she should I call her Azul, when she is arnery and biting I call her Yankee for my dear friend from Chicago who has the same disorder *LOL*) She is the FATTER of the two with tails.

Stumpy - my other female - she of course has the lil stumpy tail (and do you see the black spot on the tail? anyone know what that is?)

and my lil wee male - Named Hempy - poor dear was born on 4/20 so I had to give him a very "canibus" kind of name! *LOL* and he's laid back.. until the food comes out then it's munchie city! Oh yeah, and he does have snake eyes! One is solid black all the way and the other is snake eyes... weird but I guess that makes him het for something *LOL*

All are good eaters, all are housed together in a 55 gallon tank, with MULTIPLE substrates for them to explore on.. ALL of them stay on the organic dirt more than any other place. When feeding my geckos I take them all out handle them seperately for a few moments then put them on paper to eat... (yes I spend a little over 4 hours a day feeding geckos individually)

They look like blizzards, one might be a midnight blizzard but im not sure if you can consider that a morph because of the whole temp stuff. So it just might be a (midnight blizzard) from being in to cold of temps for a while. Could of even happened in the incubater?

ok here is my two and a half cents
banana blizard- no pattern with a yellow or cream to dark background
blazing blizzard- perfect pure white everywhere
blizzard /snow - no base pattern and white background color with a few spots
than there is midnight blizzard which is almost black with no pattern
SO I would say you have blazing and midnight and as for the spots on tail regrown tails dont count they always look different so dont even think about those spots
hope I helped a little hehe

why yes you did! Helped a great deal actually - thanks for taking the time to look them over...
The one you both think could be a midnight blizzard is not always that dark.. I seriously think it may get a bit darker when it's cold.. when they are super warm they are all almost transluscent! It's almost like they have a little Chameleon in them! *LOL*

A true Banana Blizzard is homozygous for both Murphy Patternless and Blizzard.

So what does that mean? Do these not appear to be "true" banana blizzard?

I'm sorry guys, I'm about 5 mths old in the reptile world so although I have learned a great deal, I am still quite ignorant to all the morphs and certainly do not claim to know anything at all.. I am ALWAYS a sponge for more details!

thanks again for all of your feedback

Isn't the Blazing Blizzard the albino version of a Blizzard?

Stunning animals though and my next project with the L's are to get me a nice trio of Blizzards with Blazing Blizzards as top priority.

All of the various Blizzard morphs can contain some yellow. And all of them can be very white as well. So, coloration alone really isn't a good way to judge what morph you have. In short though, to answer your question:

Blazing Blizzard = Albino Blizzard (thus there are Bell, Tremper and Vegas Blazings depending on which albino trait they carry)

Banana Blizzard = Patternless Blizzard

Diablo Blanco = Raptor Blizzard
