Hi,

Thanks. I made them by my self. They are made of a kind of hard foam plate called Forex / Kömacell. Those are most used for billboards. Do you know what i mean?

Nice cages Markus! I am in the process of making prototypes for my "day geckos" out of a similar material. Certainly lighter than glass, no?! Did you use the 4mm or the 6mm thick material? And the glass top?

Hi,

Thanks Harold.

Yes this material is mutch lighter then glass. Its only about 0.6 kg/dm3. The normal floatglass is 2,5 kg/dm3.
I use the 12 / 13mm thick material.
On the top i have only two small stripes of glass (100mm each). On the front- and backside. the rest is (how do you say them?) mull / gaze.

I hope you understand what i'm writing ;)

Hello Markus,

You're quite welcome.

I've worked with this material on many projects and have lately been confused on which to use (glass or this) on my collection cage redo. I think I have made my decision though with the help of your pictures.

I understand you just fine and expect some pictures from me in the coming months :).

Best regards,
Harold
