Not eating, blue tummy spot, out of ideas. HELP!

I don't know, anymore. Bambi just came back from the vet, and the only thing that they had to say was that it MAY be impaction, if she's not pooping, but she's pooping... Just won't eat. She won't eat crickets, meal worms... She actually runs away from crickets. I was instructed to feed her baby food (Petco took her to the All Kinds vet, so I couldn't find out anything else) and water and to give her warm baths. That's it. Says nothing about the big blue dot on her tummy. Is this normal? Her tummy is all blue with a big dot in the middle. The girl at Petco said that's just because you can see through them.... That didn't seem right to me. I don't know what to do. I almost feel that I should take her back to the store and exchange her for one who eats before I get even more attached :( I have no idea what's wrong, and it seems she can't be helped.

rajah,
how long have you had bambi?
the 1st week or so bambi may not be really interested in food while he/she gets used to the new home you set up for him/her. leave a little dish in the tank with some mealies in it for bambi to eat when hungry. make sure the temps range between mid 70 degrees Fahrenheit and the hot end should be low to mid 90 degrees. Try swishing the insect a bit and teasing a little. check in other posts explained better there.
sometimes the tummy can be a little dark, but it may just be that bambi is going to have a bowel movement. I'd only be concerned if the spot didn't go away, and bambi wasn't going pooh normally.
sorry you are having such a difficult time, and hope things go better soon.

Thanks, Melanie. It's been about two weeks since I've had her, and I've tried numerous times to tease her with mealies, and she remains uninterested. I set some in a bowl for her, and, after days, she still hadn't eaten any. As for the blue spot, it's still there, and she goes potty pretty much every day. It's a little green, but since it's happening, I doubt it's impaction. She's eating a tiny bit of baby food, but I really have to try... I had one other hatchling before her, Rajah, hence the name, and she ate just fine... At least five crickets a night. The only problem was that she, too, had green poo. I was concerned about parasites, so I exchanged her for Bambi. It seems now that I'm stuck with an even bigger problem. I don't want to have to exchange her again... She's such a sweetie. I don't want to abandon her, but I want a healthy baby :(

Unfortunately you don't always get healthy babies from pet stores(reptilian or animal), when you had bambi at the vets did they do a fecal test for parasites? If not, take her back and ask them to do one. Have you handled bambi the whole time? Sometimes they just need to be left alone to adjust to the new home, and only disturbed to feed and clean cage. I've been pretty lucky with mine, no illness or problems really knock on wood.
Sorry I can't help you more, but good luck with bambi and hopefully things work out for you.
