Wondering if anyone has any photos of any of there young u.henkle, i hatched some the past week and everyone of them has calcium sacks from the egg.Its kind of wierd, i must be providing the correct amount of vitamins,I will post some pictures when I get a chance.

it's pretty common. every henkeli i ever hatched out had good chalk sacs. you can kinda see it on the whole-body shot of my old avatar. i think that shot was taken after it finished off its hatching shed.

I have to look at some of my old photos I dont remeber them being this big, i will post a picture of the new ones soon enough.
I have hatched over 50 u. henkle,but i still dont recall them being this big.

yea, i remember being surprised with the first few i hatched, but i kinda just accepted it as the way they were when they hatched and didnt pay much mind to it.

im curious to see these ones you speak of.

Since they grow so fast, they are born with good calcium reserves to provide the raw materials for quick-development. I've had some hatchings with sacs almost as big as mom's.

My hatchling henks had roughly the same size chalk sacs upon hatching as yours do in these pics.

Out of all the ones i hatched,these are the biggest calcium sacs ive seen on any of my hatchlings.I ve hatched over 50 not including this year, i have 10 eggs cooking and 7 hatchlings.It just that this one seems really big and solid, not the same as any of my others.
