heater that doesnt melt plastic?

is there a heater that doesnt melt plastic. im having trouble finding 55gal tanks for cheap so im going to make a wooden storage unit for these plastic tubs that i found at a store near me. they look like the ones breeders use (i'll try to find a pic of one) it looks like this Shallow Closet Storage Drawer
but the ones im getting are blue, with the clear pull out drawer, and it has 2 clear plastic square like things that i was thinking about cutting the plastic square things out and replacing it with mesh screen, so light from heat lamps can enter to warm it up. so what kind of reptile heater wont melt plastic? or if someone knows a link that sells breeder reptile racks please send it.

I am not understanding why any of the heaters would melt the plastic, the temp. should only be at 90-92 degrees. You can use Flexwatt heat tape, or heat cable, all of which will need a Thermostat to regulate the temp. Good luck!
