in a week, how much should eat leopard in a cricket-based diet? Did anyone already had any problems with ovoposition tube or spiny legs of the crickets? anyway, I am used to cut them out....

Thanks

The amount that they eat depends on the size of the leos and the size of the crickets. Time of year, temps, etc all play a part as well. There's no one simple answer as to how many crickets per week a leo should eat.

I imagined this would be the answer. Here temps are always above 25c. I am just looking for an average. If they need to be fed 2-3 every day or 4 everyother day is just fine...
thanks anyway

I'd feed them whatever they seem to want each evening. If there's extra left over in the morning, take them out. You'll quickly learn how many your particular animal(s) want.

My adults eat about 10 medium crickets each, 2-3 times a week. Generally let them eat till they are full and you'll get a rough gauge at how many is suitable.

I recently tried to save an impacted lizard that someone didn't want to take care of, we all of course thought it was the substrate. He ended up not making it, and an autopsy was done and it ended up just being a cricket leg. He must have eaten a cricket that was too big for him, so always keep that in mind.

Scary!

A good rule of thumb is the width of the geckos head or smaller is the size you want to feed. At least that's what I've always believed.
