Helminths and small stones question

Hello. Here's my questions:
1. Is there any reason to add anti-helmints to Tokay or worms will eventually settle inside his stomach again from food? If yes then can you advice what medicine fit well, because judjing from my friend who hold birds some medicines can do more harm than healing.
2. Will it be good to place a small stones instead of peat on the floor of the tank? I'm worried about various small insects in that ground and think that they multiply due to fertile ground. Stones, I think, wouldn't harm Tokay and can give accumulated heat during the night.

Small stones would not be a good idea for tokays. If they some how manage to eat one that could be a bad deal. There is a lot of small organisms and insects that do start to multiply in the substrate but most of them will not harm your animal. They go around and eat the poo in the cages. Nothing to really worry about. If they were that harmful there wouldn't be a single gecko alive in the wild.

Ok, but I saw when my tokay caught a cricket he accidently grabbed a piece of peat. He's still healthy, but I'm worried should he grab a bigger piece.
And what about worms by the way?

I keep my tokays no strictly peat. Its small and harmless so if they eat any they can pass it without a problem, and its harmless to their system.
