I'm just curious as to wether they would use them with any frequency.
last week, my female fimbriatus got out of her cage while I was cleaning it, and decided to perch on the power cord of the light fixture. (It's one of those "dome" fixtures, with an exo-terra 2.0 cf bulb.) This made it easier to put her back in afterwards, but since she seemed relatively comfortable on the cord, I got a little curious about it.
I'd expect the smaller leaftails, such as satanics, to thoroughly enjoy climbing vines and thin branches, but I would not think the larger species would be as comfortable in them as mine seemed to be. She made no attempt to climb into the top of the tank, directy underneath the cord, or up the nearby walls. She just climbed up, noticed the cord, and positioned herself perpendicular to the cord, apparently looking around. She didn't stay there too long, as she would have been a little too tempting a "treat" for my two cats to snack on, but it was neat to see while it lasted.
