Okay everyone I'm sorry I was gone for so long things sort of exploded here.....
I made a few calls and talked to a few local vets and due to some very indepth conversations I have now sent off for my Non-Profit license, my EIN number and I am well on my way to becoming a Reptile Rescue... the first "Official" rescue in NC....
I've taken in 6 ball pythons (one of which has neurological issues and cant turn left - like in Zoolander the movie - He is not an Ambi-turner) and now have over 30 leos some are pets some are breeders and now... some are rescues...
I have a young leo that has laid 3 eggs for me so far and is doing the "I've shed, I'm full, these eggs in my tummy are heavy and I'm going to lay on this warm rock" thing... so I expect eggs again in the next 3 or 4 days...
Needless to say it's been pretty darn hectic around my house.. oh yeah lets not forget my 18 year old daughter graduated, got a job in a strip club as a waitress moved out and has moved back home too all while I was away from GU *HAHAHA*
Anywho, there are a couple of new guys I'm really proud of that I thought I would share with you guys....
Raleigh Jade - Tremper Albino - Picked up at the show, she's a little thin in the tail area but not too bad - certainly no danger of starvation *HAHA*
Marley - Patternless that giggles - opens his mouth and makes a giggling sound every once in a while if you rub his chin.. ticklesh little devil
Luna - my blizzard eclipse - look at that lil chunky tail
Jack - my FEMALE rescue (named after a dead grandfather - I didnt have the nerve to tell them he was a she or to change "her" name after taking her in as a rescue) - she appears to be either a normal or a mack.... not sure which - but positive that she looks like she has MBD....
the last photo is my VERY FIRST healthy gecko egg! In the incubator... doing GREAT!
What do you guys think?
FEEDBACK WELCOME
