Ok, I've been keeping a very close eye on Revel (my new little girl) over the last 5 days and as far as I can see shes not eating yet.
The breeder I got her from warned me that because of the change of surroundings say may not eat and be a bit stressed for a week or so (understandably).
I just wanted to get some other opinions on what to do next. I don't think its got extreme enough to start force feeding but if anyone has any tips to ease her into eating I'd really appreiciate it
She doesn't seem sluggish or unwell, shes still pooping every other day at least, so I don't know whether to take that as a sign that she IS eating or if its just food from before I took her home.
I'd been handling her already which I didn't really think anything of at first, then I realised I was doing exactly what I tell other people not to do! So now I'm leaving her WELL alone to settle in, only disturing her to change her water and food, and scoop poop.
I'm keeping her on paper towls and on top of a small heat mat covering about half the floor space.
She REALLY friendly and doesn't seem afraid of humans at all, so that comforts me a bit
Anyway I'd really appreiciate any comments or advice, thanks guys!
