Fungus gnats/Springtails in vivarium

I have had my vivarium set up for about 3 months now. It is the home of my day gecko and there are a bunch of plants in there. I noticed there are some very tiny fungus gnats within the substrate. They don't appear to be doing any harm. Is this something I should be concerned about or is it somewhat beneficial to the vivarium?

And if this is something to be worried about, what would be the best way to get rid of them?

Thanks

Fungus gnats and springtails are a sign that your viv is running as it should be -- naturally! They're not going to harm your gecko. In fact, they'll do wonders in breaking down feces and keeping the bacteria in the substrate to as much of a minimum as possible, which means both happier plants and a happier inhabitant. :)

Any pictures? Good job!

Best,
Ash

That is a nice little setup. One question though, is that Ivy crawling up the lattice?
