leo pics and food questions

Hi there, our little leo Ruby seems to be thriving. After the loss of sticky im keeping a close eye on her.... we say her but she could be a he we're not sure yet. Thing is she loves wax worms, rarely eats mealies i put a slightly larger cricket in yesterday, she couldnt eat it fast enough. im still not sure about balancing her diet. Also how do you get them to eat sufficient calcium, it doesnt seem to work dusting wax worms.

As far as your dusting concern goes, you could try dusting crickets for her. It sounds like she prefers them over mealies, eh? I have a boy who won't touch mealies--he only opens his mouth for crickets--picky little bugger! But, yeah, try to cut down on wax worms since they are more like treats. I'd buy her some more crickets and do the shake 'n bake method to get that calcium w/d3 coated on their unfortunate butts. :evil: You could also leave a dish of calcium in Ruby's house for her to lick up as she pleases!
