Bad picture but my gecko is around 4 months old. I know it is too early to tell if it is a girl or a boy.....anyone want to guess and I will post a new picture every month and see if you can guess correctly......50/50 chance so not that exciting but I am bored...................anyways on another note ...... Happy holidays!!!

I can read just fine. You must not have experience with crested geckos. They don't develop bulges until around 6-10 months. The only way to sex it this young is to use a good loupe, this picture does not close up on the vental scales, which would be what we need to see to accurately sex your gecko. The pores at this age are very small and may not even be visible yet. My question to jpg is, can you see each scale in the ventral area so clearly and closely that you'd be able to see pores in it?
I'm not trying to be rude but its fact. I can't see the scales well, and my eye scent is quite keen. To be able to see pores on your moniter from that picture, you must have a 30x+ loupe for eyes.

I think she knows its too early. Their just playing a game for you to guess now and in a few months we get to see who got it right.

Thats deffinitly the case and sorry for being sarcastic but that was the point I was trying to get across . I have had cresteds before and know how to accuratly sex them :)

Where does the gecko spend most of its time? Up high, middle of the cage or on the ground?

up high never on the ground unless it gets startled and jumps..........sleeps in the upper left corner always in a log or outside of it but always the same spot......

way to early to tell I consider them all females untill I see balls and I don't see any. but any way sh...im's got hot little belly

some new pictures...........plants in tank are growing nicely ..... started feeding live crickets once a week in a ten gallon tank with a a fake vine in it............Still haven't figured out how to take really good pictures yet ...the gecko doesn't stay still very long when it is out of the tank..............
