Sikorae pattern

Recently I recognized that my little Sikorae holdback looks quite similar to his father:

I always liked the "smiley" on the male's back and it seems that his son got nearly the same pattern . Have you ever recognized that in your sikoraes?

They are both really pretty. I like the smiley also . They do look very similar in pattern. I would have to say that, that is not that common. Unlike pietschmanni, guentheri, and alluaudi there patterns are all so similar in all geckos. Sikorea and the rest have crazy patterns and colors and there always different. Must have just got his fathers pattern genes. Does anyone think differently?

Those are a couple of gorgeous looking sikorae. Very interesting that the juvie seems to have inherited the pattern.
