LG Colony

Hello all,
I was wondering how many adult and semi-adult females can be kept in a 60 gallon tank (20in H, 48in L, 16in W)

i got a colony of 3 in a tank that big, looks like i could get a couple more in there if i put in a second level. but see what other ppl say.

Well, I currently have 3 in that tank and I am planning on adding a second level. With that I want to add 5 more LG, for a total of 8. What do you think???

kinda reminds me of the set ups at the pet store i used to work at. IMO and it is JUST my opinion. that seems a bit much. i feel with that many adult leos in one enclosure you might have reoccurring fights. i plan on keeping 6 in mine and i also have a divider to cut the tank in two, incase there is a problem i can separate them quickly without having to put a new enclosure together.

I've kept young groups of 4 in 20 gallon long tanks, but that's WAY too crowded. Right now I've got an adult pair in a 20 long and I feel it's still a bit too cramped. I think a group of 4-5 (one male, three or four females) could be housed comfortably in a 60 gallon.
