i obtained two giant day geckos from a guy that knew nothing about their care and well being.
it angers me that the female of the pair is now very very sick because of the lack of care. :-x:-x

my geckos do not make noise, but i hear people say that their noisy

they do eat, but not every day

they were being kept in a screen fresh air type cage, out in the wind and rain.

the male is healthy and jumps around...

i separated the female to watch her. shes doing wayyyy better now. at first she never walked or even licked her eye balls lol.
now shes walking and occasionally eating..fruit only..no protien.
she isnt as quick as the male and her feet pads look like they dont work..

(sorry for the long story:shock:)
but my questions are..

can i reintroduce them?
and is her feet pads gonna be okay..

thanks

dont reintroduce them until she looks healthy. If you look at pictures on this forum you can see what a healthy grandis should look like. The sticky pads may be because it has stuck shed due to messed up humidity conditions. I would suggest sticking her in a rubbermaid or sterilite container with wet paper towels for a few hours a day and seeing if you can get any stuck shed off or not. Make sure there are holes in the container. keep hte humidity up in her tank as well.

i tried removing the excess skin..but she tried to bite me :?

haha

and she can crawl around, but she barley moves

She sounds like she's in pretty bad shape can you take pics of her? When mine have shed stuck to their feet I do what John said put them in some kind of plastic container with a damp paper towel for a little while and it always helps
