Hi, My recently aquired male p. standingi is settling in well. He is eating (although not very much at the mo as hes still getting used to his new viv) nutrobal dusted crickets. He was being cooled over the winter, and hes got a 40w basking spot. Soon, hopefully ill put a piece of bamboo horizontally across under the basking lamp and uv. Enjoy!

Looks good, beautiful bromeliad, and a nice fat gecko! May want to put a layer of clay ball or some such under the soil to provide better drainage if you're going to put any plants directly into the soil. I couldn't tell if you've already done so with the bromeliad. If you wanna go all out with the live plants then pothos would be a good replacement for the vines in the back corner.

Its actually a fake bromiliad lol, but it looks pretty realistic. Im gonna get some live plants to put in there in the near future, so ill bear in mind about using a drainage layer. I might just keep the plants in pots though.

I hope the geckos nice and fat, as i dont really know what they should look like. He readily will take a wax worm from the tweezers, but he seems to not like taking crickets from the tweezers. He isnt eating very much at the mo, but thats probably as hes just gone into a new viv, and hes being cooled at the moment. Thanks,

Ed :D
