I´m not sure about that. Some pre-pores of the juvies (1-3 month) are normal in futures females...
Check the preanal pores it´s the right manner to determinate the sex about 3,4 month old. Not before...
Other hand, that people said, it´s true in my experience few "females" at 7-8 month "convert" into males because develop the pores and bulges late...
To learn it, you can buy a magnifying glasses and prove with your own lizards to learn for yourself, but my advice it´s always have a good teacher (an experience colleague) to start...
For example, this magnifying glass cost me 12€ with light...
