Today, when i got home from a weekend at my grandparents i found that my leopard geckos two eggs dry and infertiale sitting on a rock. I was expecting them but i didn't think she would lay them this early. Anyway they were obviosly dead (since they were litteraly dried on the rock). So I candled them anyway and couldn't see an embryo. Then later out of curiostiy I cut on open and there was nothing inside but white stuff. Were they infertile to begin with or was it because they spent at least a day practicaly frieing on top a rock???

P.S, my first leopard gecko eggs, EVER

I think it's that they fried on the rock with low humidity levels. The good news is that she will lay more clutches.

If it was her first clutch, it very well may have been infertile. Throw her back in with the male now to insure that she'll produce more eggs right away.
