my newly set up terrarium and hello from texas
Hello there everyone. Just joined and thought I would introduce myself. My name is Jen and I am somewhat new to this forum. I have been reading it for a while, and finally decided to join.
I have kept all sorts of critters before, so far as herps go, I have kept some of the "ordinary" guys like fire-belly newts, green tree frogs, iguanas, boas and White's tree frogs. I have also kept tiger-legged frogs (my favorite tree frog!), Chilean Christmas Toads, Red-Eyed tree frogs, box turtles, aquatic turtles, Jackson's chameleons, veiled chameleons, a lovely Gold-dust day gecko, and currently have a beautiful 5-year old sulcata we've had since he was a hatching; his name is "Dozer." My mom has a huge (9" head to tail) male Standing's Day Gecko (she got the "gecko madness" from me.
Besides the tortoise, I have two dogs, a dwarf mixed rabbit, and a six-month old son. I have finally finished setting up and planting a 15-gallon tall terrarium for a trio of Lygodactylus williamsii. I will try to include some pictures this weekend of the building process. Till then, here's what it looks like now.
