THis week I was able to watch 2 of my leo eggs hatching! The first one I took several photos of and then later was kicking myself for not getting any video of it...and to think my camcorder was sitting right next to me! I was given a second chance the following day to remember my camcorder and got it! The egg took well over an hour to hatch fully. I found the egg when the nose was already part way out of the shell and used a sony dcrsr200 harddrive camcorder placed on top of the incubator and hooked into a power outlet. I let it record the whole event and then cut it down to about 7 minutes long. I took out most of the resting periods were the baby was building up its strength for another go at escape. This is the 3rd leo egg I have hatched so far. I hope you all enjoy this!
