Can strophurus ciliaris & taenicauda climb glass?

Hi i'm thinking of getting either strophurus taenicauda or ciliaris in a few years and was wondering if they could climb glass. I already have a glass sliding door enclosure ready for them to use.

I wanted a northern velvet gecko (Oedura castelnaui), the breeder told me that the velvet gecko could climb through the gap between the sliding doors, and even if they are adults they can cut their heads off.

I can speak for ciliarus. They can climb glass, but given enough good branches they rarely will bother with the glass. They do not particularly seek escape.

Thanks for the info. How many branches do i need to have. I only have 1 so far. What about taenicauda, can they climb glass?

As far as I know all strophurus species can climb glass, definitely ciliaris and taenicauda.

Do you think i should still get strophurus species or should i just forget about it. Do you how many branches i should provide, i only have one so far. I really want lots of geckos, but the geckos i want are all arboreal. I already know i can't get any Oedura species in a sliding door glass enclosure.
