What's the best treatment with the least amount of stress for the animals? I received a trio the morning and at least one of them had a few mites. She is now taking a warm water bath. Thanks

How do you give them a warm water bath ? There is good info in the williamsii care sheet.

I just put her in a small container witn about 1/4" of warm water for about 15 minutes. I didn't see any mites in the water but don't see anymore on her. I think I will take some pictures and look that way for any more.

I've got this spray called reptile relief, by natural chemistry, that you can spray directly on the animals (avoid excess and contact with mouth and eyes), could wet a cutip and swap the individual mites with something like that also...seems to work. Its for fleas, tics and mites, and it isnt pyrethrin based.

I used a Q-tip with some veggie oil on it to swab down the flying geckos I got. The oil picks up the mites and coats any larva so they suffocate. Then use the dry side of the Q-tip to swab p any excess oil. Check em every few days for more mites and repeat as needed, All my flying geckos were mite free n 3 weeks.
