I think that your leo isn't a Tangerine Carrot Tail because to be carrot tail shouldn't have spot's on the carrot tail.

Nice leos

Carrot tails DO have spots on the tail and the amount of orange required in the tail differs form breeder to breeder. Some say 10% while others 60+%. Btw love the mack snow :) ive always prefered the spotted geckos vs all others.

The Bell albino wins hands down :)

As for the carrot-tail, you're right, it isn't one.
The amount of orange doesn't dictate a carrot-tail, it can vary from very little to an almost full orange tail. It's where the spots, if any, show up:

My geckos thanks you for the praise.

I love the dark spots all the way down Sabimaru's tail. I prefer her tail pattern and colors to a full Carrot Tail :). Also geckos with spots are my fav too, mack snows, dalamatian crested, etc.

I know it's a little off-topic, but what do you think, Hilde, is Sprocket a carrot tail? I don't think so, yet anyway; She's still a juvie (27 grams already!), and after each shed there's more carrot and less black. I ask because that pic is great, but Sprocket seems to be in-between those examples. I don't care either way, she's my baby. :) Oh, and is she baldy with the ONE spot on her head? lol

Well according to the Leopard gecko book by Philipe and Ron a carrot tail is 30% or more orange in the tail.

The super snow "eclipse" is not eclipse - all super snow look like that. Super Snow Eclipses have slightly different coloring. other than that, pretty nice leos.
