P cepediana are one of the most beautifully colored and sought after species of Phelsuma. Equally, they are also one of the most difficult to acquire here in North America. Those that have them are either holding back based on the few they have or holding back to study optimal breeding/husbandry etc and/or to attempt to build the North American cepediana population. Not sure if that is completely true, just what I have surmised based on reading past threads on here or on phelsumaweb (lookup cepediana project here).
