Ebenavia inunguis Pics

This is my female Ebenavia inunguis. Ebenavia are awsome geckos and my pair is quickly becoming a favorite for me. I had some been beetles, the ones a lot of dart frog people use, and fed some to my pair and they ate them. Has anyone else tried them? I still plan on feeding the crickets mostly, but I like to give my gecko variety. And I am getting a Matoatoa brevipes Monday or Tuesday, any care tips?

Definately one of my favourite species, absolute joy to work with. I loved keeping mine and can't wait to get my hands on some more some time.

Thats an absolute beauty you have there!

You had any joy breeding them yet?

What a unique looking little gecko. Are they skittish or can they be handled on occasion? I did a search on the net and didn't come up with much info on them at all. I'd love to get a breeding project started with these geckos!!

Very interesting little geckos these Ebenavia inunguis are ... Just adorable. I love their head and tail. You just have to love them. I think they are next on my gecko list for this autmn - if I could get any :)

Bob, try drosophila with them. They seem to enjoy the chase.

Dave, they're worthwhile for displaying in naturalistic vivariums but don't handle them unless you have too.

Ebenavia inunguis are great geckos. They are very active and sometimes even during the day. They don't seem to skittish, but I have just handled them to take them out of the deli cup and into their cage.

I always found them to be fairly calm as well... Often with small geckos, especially the arboreal ones are very skittish things and can be a bit awkward to work with but these guys are nice and easy and a joy to work around
