unexpected goldust hatchling

over the past few monthes, my female laid 4 eggs (2 in april, 2 a few weeks ago). they were all in an incubator. yesterday, i saw a hatchling basking, in the cage. apparently, i missed the first egg (or pair). anyway, this one will be larger than the first incubated pair to hatch, and i can keep them together as a result, since it will bully them out of food. i have 2 setups for hatchlings, and i COULD set up a third, but im really not prepared for this guy.

anyway, if anyone is willing to drive to NJ to get him, they can have him cheap, and no shipping (obviously). it would be easiest for me to get him a home in a month or so, but he will be too young to ship.
if anyone wants him, and is willing to drive to NJ, send me a PM, or email me at m9a9r9k9o9@gmail.com

and ill be posting pics for everyones enjoyment soon. :)

btw, comments are welcome, this isnt just and ad thread.

If it is eating good it will be fine to ship after 4 weeks. I wouldn't do it any earlier but after 4 weeks they are fine to ship.

And congrats on the hatchling.

really?!
thats great. i read otherwise in the book by leanne and greg chritenson, but it didnt say it specifically for p. laticauda, so thanks for that piece of info.

well, today i found, and caught, the little hatchlings sibling. i was wondering if it was a single egg or pair. i guess it was a pair. here are pics of the both of them, the mother, and the adults pairs' cage.

Some people prefer to wait a little longer some don't. Really after 4 weeks they should be ok to ship. Also you need to use your personal judgment to make sure that it has been eating good and has put on some nice size. The geckos dont read the books that we write so it varies from gecko to gecko. Using your best judgment is always the best way to go.

ok, thanks. after 4 weeks, when they start getting a plumpish and filled-in look, ill post a classified.

one is much more colorful then the other, did anyone else have that happen? one is a bright green (almost as colored as my mature male) and already has yellow dusting and some faint redish markings. the other one is a greyish green, with no visible red or yellow.
