Need a little help with newborn

Hi all,

So last saturday we had our first pair of cresties hatch. And as with all of the newborns Im always super excited. Last night I noticed that one of the hatchlings was on the cage floor, just lying there. He would move around a bit if we touched him , but he seems really sluggish. Ive been keeping them as I do their parents. Spraying a couple times a day. Theyre on paper towel in a critter keeper. He didnt move at all the whole night where he was on the floor. His mate is climbing on the walls and during the day sleeping in the little bush i gave them. Does anyone have any suggestions for the little guy. I dont want him to die on me!!!!

Thanks, it seemed like he just took a turn for the worst in 24 hours. I wish I had known what happened. Its worse for me when I dont know whats wrong. I still have one healthy baby left and 4 more incubating. So it's not all too terrible. Hell of a way to start your morning off though.

Sorry for your loss, sometimes babies die for no reason, it does sound as though the little one was a weakling from the start. Good luck with the other eggs :)
