I have been test breeding a lot this season to fine out what these guys REALLY are in terms of hets and such.
I have also been working on getting the eclipse gene into my SHTCT group, but my female have not been cooperating :-x

That's exciting, Anne! I'm also working on a few different projects with my non-het eclipse male... I'd like to see you produce a lavender/tangerine colored eclipse with solid black eyes - how cool would that be?!

right on! Maybe consider getting a nice lavender female that is het eclipse, too... I hear hets can throw some really interesting looking animals.
