Food items

Hello everyone,
I got my first l.williamsi today. I am just wondering what type of fruit/nectar foods you are having success with, and which ones seem to be favorites among the species. I would like to hear some opinions before I go to the store tomorrow.

I feed fruit flies, roaches, small crickets, and nothing else. Fat, active, have been seen mating, and have 3 eggs incubating. Assumably they are getting all they need diet-wise.

my 1.2 love mixed fruit, apple & blue berry and peach baby food, but there also the only onnes i have tried, i also mix in calcium and vitamins most days sence there mateing and laying eggs, i also give them fruit flys, small crickets and mini meal worms when i can but its hard to get small feeders ware i am

Thanks for the input. I got him some small crickets today, and watched him eat two. I also have some tiny meal worms I may try in a day or two. I'm gonna look at the baby food when I get to the grocery store in a couple days. I guess I can get a few and see what he likes.

Mine eat virtually everything, fruit flies, spring tails, crickets and so on. Fruit and baby food is also a favorite but insects make out the main staple.
