Any galapagos experience?

Hi all, I am in the process of booking a trip to the Galapagos in January and was wondering if anyone knew any good spots and tips? I will also be going to Peru.

The Galapagos is easy: every single island hosts lava lizards, and on most of the (touristical) islands you'll encounter land and marine iguanas. Tortoises are more difficult to see, and best chances are to find them on the large Island Santa Cruz. Peru is enormously large and variable, where specifically are you heading to?
