Sinosauropteryx
New member
Hey there,
I am a herp enthusiast from Ontario, Canada. I like all reptiles but geckos are my favourite so I hold a special affinity for them. Right now I have two leopard geckos and a white-lined gecko but I can see myself getting more geckos of different kinds in the near future whenever my finances will allow me to. I also have a fire skink (that's him in my sig) and I used to have a green basilisk that unfortunately is no longer with me anymore  This site has lots of information and resources that I will probably need in order to keep and learn more about these incredible animals so I thought I would register to gain the additional benefits of a board/site member. I hope to learn from everyone else's experiences with their geckos and maybe share a few of my own.
If you are curious about my user name, it is the name of one of my favourite dinosaurs. Sinosauropteryx is a (relatively) recent discovery that shows the first good evidence of feathers on a dinosaur. It even pre-dates Archaeopteryx which is probably why it is so famous in palaeontology. As you can see, I am also very interested in palaeontology - especially early vertebrate palaeontology - so I couldn't resist using this name.
Anyway I am glad to be here and I look forward to meeting the rest of you!
Cheers,
Carl.
