I bred a mack snow to my tremper albino and here are the babies. Is one a mack snow and the other is a normal? And could I produce a mack snow albino? thanks for the help.

as my understanding u always have a chances of getting a normal. it will maybe het for a snow and albino but it will still looks like a normal, but i think one is a normal(and it should be het albino and snow) and the other is a mack snow het albino. after a while u can produce a mack snow albino. but where albino is recessive its a little harder to get the albino to come out. i think, i may not be right if not someone else will tell u the right thing

They both look like snows to me. As Weedo said, you have a chance of getting hets for both, but it seems like you lucked out. Maybe someone else will come along and completely explain if it can or can't be a snow or albino, etc.
I'm not completely sure about the genetics yet, but I'm learning.:)

Hi Bradonfb,
so if you have an albino breed to a Mack snow you will produce
50% Mack Snow and 50% normals. They all will be het for albino, because the albino i rezesiv and the Mack Snow is a co-dominant gene.
The easiest way to produce the Mack Snow Albino is to breed the Mack Snow back to the albino. Than you have a 50% chace to get a albino and also a 50% chance that it is a Mack Snow, or others said you will get:
25% normal het albino
25% albino
25% Mack Snow het albino
25% Mack Snow Albino
So i think that's your best chance, but maybe i be wrong. If somebody else have a other idea please tell.
greetings tomy
