Getting to know you gecko

Training the leopard gecko to trust you is not hard:D. I Have had the best results with folowing a five minute plan:idea:. For the first section ( week) you should hold the gecko for 5 minutes on the first two days:D. Then for the next three days add 5 more minutes to your holding time. For the last two days add another 5 minutes. Then increas you minutes by 1 minute for the next week. After two-three weeks your leopard gecko should be more relaxed ( or not so scared) when you hold him:biggrin:. I am on the 1 week for my new leopard gecko. I have done this with my first leopard geckos to:yikes:.

Note. Do NOT use fast movments ass they scare you leopard gecko(s). If you gecko hisses and raises its tail STOP:yikes:. This is not ment as a professianly used plan. I am just saying that it has worked for me and I mean to use it in the future to tame all of my leopard geckos:).

No I mean to get used to you holding them. I do not start for a few months after a have bought the gecko. So that they get used to their new habitat. One of the reasons I have to break leopard geckos is. I have a baby brother. If you get my meaning.
